Unfortunately as of right now I’m not in a position to have a trailer for carrying vehicles that I need to repair. But what I am good at is being thankful to a friend that lets me use his 20’ car hauler when I need it. I noticed the wheels were leaning a little bit so I decided to check it out. Bearings needed repacked and new seals installed. This little bit of time doing some preventative maintenance sure saves a lot of money in the long run.

If ya borrow it return it in better condition than ya got it.

What’s day. Started off the morning with a 2005 F-150 with the 5.4 triton. Customer told me it needed a timing chain job. No worries we can do that but last minute told me cyl 5 had a misfire they couldn’t get right so I did a compression test. Results were 0psi interesting enough I pulled the spark plug and rotated the engine to compression stroke where all lobes were off the valve and dropped my camera In the hole. Lo and behold bent valve. Customer decided to have a motor installed so we didn’t right thing and took it to his preferred shop cause I don’t do motor swaps.

Next truck 2018 f150 misfire on cyl 3. At 130k miles the spark plugs have never been changed. They definitely showed signs of age so we swapped those out with new motor craft plugs and moved the coil from cyl 3 to cyl 1 ran the truck and had no issues.

Then 2017 Hyundai Tucson had a bad coil. Got that changed and back on the road

After that was a blown hydraulic line on a customers John Deere tractor.

Lunch was next lol.

Then a Volkswagen Jetta had 29 codes in the system. Well a 4 cyl car can’t run efficient on 2 cylinders so got that quoted.

Repair #2 for the day. We received a call from Eddie Garcia regarding a severe noise coming from his work truck while he was en route to our shop. Upon inspection, we found the passenger-side wheel bearing had completely seized and was on the verge of catastrophic failure.

After disassembly, additional damage was discovered, including a failed 4WD actuator caused by the bearing failure and Eddie decided let’s do both bearings for preventative maintenance . With incoming weather approaching and the vehicle needed back in service, we quickly coordinated parts acquisition from multiple locations to minimize downtime and complete the repair efficiently.

We are extremely thankful this issue occurred close to home and not on the roadway, where the outcome could have been much worse. Our priority is always the safety and reliability of every vehicle we service, especially for hardworking customers who depend on their equipment daily.

Eddie, thank you for your continued trust and loyalty in choosing us for your repair and maintenance needs. We truly appreciate the opportunity to keep your truck operating safely and reliably.

Today we had the opportunity to assist the Italy Youth Athletic Association with repairs to a Toro Infield Pro 3040 after the machine experienced a catastrophic engine failure that resulted in severe damage to one of the cylinder heads.

Working alongside the association’s president, we were able to coordinate with the manufacturer and secure a replacement engine at a discounted cost. Once all components arrived, repairs were completed and the machine was returned to service.

Supporting local youth programs and organizations that invest in teamwork, sportsmanship, and the next generation is something we take great pride in. We appreciate the opportunity to contribute and look forward to continuing to support the kids and the community for years to come.

2019 Ford F-150 3.3L
For some reason this was more complex than it needed to be. From removing the EGR system on the passenger side to removing the H/P fuel pump on the driver side just to replace valve covers has me baffled at what engineer decided this was a good idea. Long story short this took most of my day but the important thing is Eddie Garcia has his fleet truck back so he can service his customers and not have to rearrange his workers schedule or cancel already planned jobs.

Today we completed repairs on this Cub Cadet Zero-Turn Mower after receiving a call from a customer last week who was experiencing starting and fuel delivery issues.

After thoroughly inspecting and servicing the carburetor, along with diagnosing the fuel system, we traced the issue to a faulty 3-way fuel tank selector valve. The defective valve was allowing air into the fuel line, causing it to lose prime and starve the carburetor of fuel.

Once the replacement part arrived, we installed it today and confirmed the mower is back up and running properly.

What a day. First off I made my human mistake and double booked the day. Thankfully a customer of mine was willing to reschedule so I could get this Caddy done. We advertise no job too small and today we got a call that a semi hauling from Laredo to Tennessee was stuck at the loves truck stop here in town with a broken strap for his fuel tank. After work the truck was loaded and we knocked this out. I’d say that’s one piece of double check and triple check on my pre shift inspection.

Today we brought a 1978 Ford 150 Ranger back to life. Customer had a new motor installed but the installer still had issues getting it running. She brought it home and decided she wanted me to take a look at it. New carb and some troubleshooting and she’s running great now. This 460 cubic inch is a beast can sure rock the truck. Still need to do some adjustments to get her running just right but it was great to listen to her growl. Videos in comments.
