Thanks for stopping by and reading what this Page is all about! Dream In Rotary is something that I started in January of 2013 in order to better document my Turbo II swap into my first FB RX7. It has obviously progressed since then and my main goals with my self-operated enterprise are simple; to help others with their rotary passion, document my progress on my personal builds as time goes on, an

d to have a good time communicating with others about their projects. That's about it in a nutshell, feel free to ask any questions you may have and I'll answer them as soon and as accurately as possible. I appreciate the support and help I get from others and I only hope I can be a helping hand in the future!

Seven images for RX-7s / Sevens Day (07/07)

Had a great time out at Saidai Garage's event today, tons of old friends were able to make it out and I got to make some new ones! Absolutely a blast to get to see this many rotaries out at the same time in Minnesota here.

Collaboration with Minnesota Rotary Owners, MN RX Club, and MN FD Owners. These pictures were done by me - Austin Lindahl.

How many Rotaries can you count?!

There are 3 of the 4 rotary-powered sports cars sold after 1979 in the yard in the first image. SA, FB, FC and RX-8 all make an appearance in the same picture, at the same time, in the same place.

These pictures were taken on November 1st, 2016 at my parents' house. It was, and remains, the record for the most number of rotary-powered vehicles that I have ever owned at one point in time. This was right after a failed attempt to purchase a house with enormous shops, which will be the subject of a story in the future where I dig into the background of the almost-complete silence of the Dream In Rotary YouTube channel for the last 6-7 years...

Remember that old Durango from a few weeks back?! I traded that ol' runner for this non-running 2004 S1 RX-8 with a 6 speed manual in June of 2016! Someone in southern MN needed a daily driver, and his wife was sick of the RX-8 sitting around, so we made an even-up trade for it. Was a great day!

I used that Suburban in March of 2016 to tow home this blown-headgasket 2002 VW Jetta with a 1.8L turbo and a 5 speed manual. I got it for a steal of a deal from a coworker of mine who was going to scrap it. All it needed was a head gasket and a few other parts thrown at it to be a runner again! Body was pretty clean, and it turned out super nice in the end! There are so many days I say I shoulda just kept this thing and daily'ed it, would have saved me so much money in the long run...but I sold it in September of 2016.

I bought this 2001 Suburban 2500 (3/4 ton) in February of 2016 from my in-laws, making me the third owner of this beast! It had the 8.1L Vortec in it, the last big block that GM made. We drove this thing all over the place, and I am actually trying to find another one right now! I had it until May of 2018 when I sold it, and still miss it to this day. Hoping the next one I pick up has lower mileage and less rust (from down south).

WHEELS FOR SALE, SPRING CLEANING!
Brand: BBS & Mazda
Style: Vert Mesh
Color: Silver (Painted)
Specs: 15in x 6.5in
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3mm (5x4.5in)
Offset: 40mm
Weight: 12.5lb (each)

Details: These wheels have been sitting around my garage attic for a few years now, and I don't have any plans to use them in the near future. They are in great shape, a 7/10 condition set of wheels. There are some slight scratches on the outer rim lips, but these could easily be cleaned up with some elbow grease - no welding needed. I would personally strip them clean of all paint layers and either repaint them myself, or do some sort of polishing.

Price: $550 + Shipping
Shipping is around $150 to anywhere in the continental USA right now (trust me, it's a lot!). This has to be considered, as I'm a private-party seller without large-company shipping discounts.

Here is what the FC Drift Shell looked like when I picked it up, had a bunch of interior parts still in the car and could have been a decent drift car with a bunch of work. I had plans to build a drift car for the few months that I had it, but eventually I sold it off to someone else.
