Had to brag on our client in the Energy Corridor for having the fastest payback and highest ROI that we have seen in all of our garage projects since 2016! This garage will go from 8' F32 T8 fixtures to 4' LED v***r tights with an occupancy center and as a result will eliminate half of their lighting footprint while more than doubling their lumen output! Give us a call if you would like to see if its possible to have a payback of 10.5 months with an ROI of 114%! Once the garage lighting is paid off in less than 1 year, the annual savings of $140K will go straight to the bottom line every year! Ask us about our exclusive 5/5 warranty that includes labor for a full 5 years!

Had the pleasure of meeting Runshan "Kiwi" Liu from Camp Kesem at Rice University yesterday! Camp Kesem is an extraordinary organization who provides a week of camp per year to kids who are dealing with a parents cancer battle. Camp Kesem is run completely by former campers. Runshan, whose camp name is Kiwi, is a junior at Rice studying Pre-Med and came to Rice via his family home in New Zealand. His Mom has been cancer free for 10 years! Mo Pie U is excited for the opportunity to partner with Camp Kesem to provide scholarships to kids who have lost a parent to cancer!

Raise your hand if you LOVE kids, HATE cancer, and LOVE pie! Well, here’s your chance to help some amazing kids who have lost a parent to cancer continue their educational journeys by providing them with a scholarship. Scholarships also apply to vocational and technical training. I am doing a Hill Country Fundraising Walk October 3-4 when I will walk from Buchanan Dam, Tx to Enchanted Rock State Park which is approximately 41 miles full of lots of hills. I am asking people for their financial support by sponsoring me by the mile or just a lump sum donation. Donations can be made through the Mo Pie U website www.mopieu.org or via Zelle and my cell phone which is (281) 202-4625. You can also go old school and write a check to Mo Pie U (Thank you Greg Garcia and Creekside Christian Fellowship). Thank you to Maddie Glenn, one of our amazing scholarship recipients for designing a very cool donor shirt for donors donating $100 or more. The back of the shirt lists the individuals and companies who donate $100 or more. Here’s the deal, if you want to donate $100+ and get your name on the back of the shirt, you need to let me know by EOD tomorrow 9/22. Shirts are going to the printer this week. 100% of your donation will go directly to provide tuition assistance to kids who have lost a parent to cancer and is tax-deductible! As an added boost to get you to join the fun, I will deliver you a bag of fresh baked Mo Pie U cookies when I deliver your t-shirt. If you donate $100 or more by EOD tomorrow, please email me your t-shirt size. For donations of $100 or more received after tomorrow, you will still receive the cool t-shirt, it just won’t have your name on it. And, if you can’t afford $100, don’t worry, any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of children who have lost a parent to cancer. Mo Pie U is a new non-profit organization founded to provide college tuition support to these deserving young individuals, empowering them to pursue their educational goals.

Mo Pie U family, meet The Ratcliff's! Gloria lost her husband, Randolph Ratclifff, II to cancer on June 30, 2025 and Joaquin (middle) and Randy lost their Dad. Joaquin plans to study Advanced Manufacturing at Texas State Technical College beginning in the Spring of 2026 and Mo Pie U plans on helping Joaquin achieve his vocational training goals.
With all of the negativity and hatred being spewed over the last week, if this picture doesn't put a smile on your face, I'm not sure what will!

Infinity Lighting Solution came to the rescue of the University of Houston just in time for Friday night lights and a national TV audience that witnessed our UofH Coogs whip up on the Colorado Buffaloes. We got a call from the University last weekend and yes we do answer the phone on the weekend to replace 4 pole heads in lot 19C. We removed 4 old and inefficient Metal Halide on Monday that were 1,500 watts each with new 300 watt pole heads saving UofH 4,800 watts per pole and most importantly a dark parking area was no longer dark. Our next assignment was to diagnose 24 pole heads on 6 poles in the TDECU Stadium parking lot. Examination revealed that 20 of the 24 pole heads which were also old 1,500 watt Metal Halide needed to be replaced as new ballast and lamps cost as much or more than new LED pole heads and weren't available for 3 months. The only challenge was that we found out about this on Tuesday late morning and the project had to be completed by EOD Thursday as UofH was playing Colorado Friday night and the stadium parking lot would be packed. Fixtures arrived from Dallas Tuesday night and installation began Wednesday afternoon and concluded Thursday night just in time for Friday night football. Go Coogs! Special thanks to Mike Rodriguez from Reimagined Parking and Allen DeForde with UofH Parking & Transportation!

Wrapped up my first set of 2 a day workouts last night! 4.0 miles flat walk in the morning Monday and Tuesday, followed by 4.0 miles of hills Monday afternoon and 4.3 miles of hills yesterday afternoon. Today is a day off! Of the $7,093.52 awarded in scholarships for the 2025 Fall semester, over half came from so many of you who have supported my Hill Country Walk fundraiser October 3-4. Please continue with your support and help me reach my goal of raising $20,000 for scholarships for our amazing kids. If you are a company or just a very generous person, I am looking for a t-shirt sponsor so that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to provide a scholarship to a kid who has lost a parent to cancer. Call me at (281) 202-4625 if you are interested. You will be prominently displayed on a very cool t-shirt! www.mopieu.org

Nearly 16 miles and 5 hours of walking this morning with the last mile walking up and down the training hill at Travis High School! Gonna take a few days off and then ramp up next week to walking for 6 hours with hills next Saturday. Special thanks to Melia and Pat Arlin for the extremely generous donation today. I think we are approaching $4,000 in donations or 20% of my $20,000 goal! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
