Raise your hand if you LOVE kids, HATE cancer, and LOVE pie! Well, here’s your chance to help some amazing kids who have lost a parent to cancer continue their educational journeys by providing them with a scholarship. Scholarships also apply to vocational and technical training. I am doing a Hill Country Fundraising Walk October 3-4 when I will walk from Buchanan Dam, Tx to Enchanted Rock State Park which is approximately 41 miles full of lots of hills. I am asking people for their financial support by sponsoring me by the mile or just a lump sum donation. Donations can be made through the Mo Pie U website www.mopieu.org or via Zelle and my cell phone which is (281) 202-4625. You can also go old school and write a check to Mo Pie U (Thank you Greg Garcia and Creekside Christian Fellowship). Thank you to Maddie Glenn, one of our amazing scholarship recipients for designing a very cool donor shirt for donors donating $100 or more. The back of the shirt lists the individuals and companies who donate $100 or more. Here’s the deal, if you want to donate $100+ and get your name on the back of the shirt, you need to let me know by EOD tomorrow 9/22. Shirts are going to the printer this week. 100% of your donation will go directly to provide tuition assistance to kids who have lost a parent to cancer and is tax-deductible! As an added boost to get you to join the fun, I will deliver you a bag of fresh baked Mo Pie U cookies when I deliver your t-shirt. If you donate $100 or more by EOD tomorrow, please email me your t-shirt size. For donations of $100 or more received after tomorrow, you will still receive the cool t-shirt, it just won’t have your name on it. And, if you can’t afford $100, don’t worry, any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.
Join us in making a difference in the lives of children who have lost a parent to cancer. Mo Pie U is a new non-profit organization founded to provide college tuition support to these deserving young individuals, empowering them to pursue their educational goals.
