Just got hit with a 33% costs increase in my new pipe we use for building our awesome Gators. Gator WILL be increasing our pricing on website listed models/products affected by this INSANE pipe supplier increase. This may take affect as early as next week. Those with current orders, you are not affected on your current order with current features. Locked in so to speak. Those of you considering placing an order with Gator Pit of Texas, LP, you may want to seriously look at getting that order in NOW.

When I questioned the huge increase, I was told due to current fuel/transportation related costs. This is not the first increase over the past year or so. This is just the most recent and highest to date.

New Steel versus Old Used Steel Cookers. What do you really prefer when it comes down to true quality in a cooker?
You can pay thousands of bucks for an old retired Propane tank cooker. One that is rusted. Valves cut out and patched or plugged. Gas or other chemicals stored in it. Sat in a field for 30 years. Or, you can pay that same amount of bucks for brand new pipe. Clean, no patches or plugs. Fresh from the steel mill. Quality meets ASME oil and gas pipeline standards.
I have had customer bring tank cookers to me that were only a few years old, already rusted thru. Paid thousands and cooker lasted about 3 years before they were looking at someone to repair the hole. One customer purchased a tank cooker and the builder used BONDO to patch the rusted out areas and placed that area on the bottom with a nice paint job the concealed it. Over time, heat cracked the Bondo and he had a hole thru the bottom of his cooker. I am not making this up.
