Tonight, the sky is putting on a show with a lunar eclipse… but we got a little head start this afternoon! 🌕🔴

Our own FULL BLOOD MOON was out in broad daylight before heading off to its new home in Georgia! 😂

At 12 feet in diameter, this prop is an absolute monster—and definitely one of those projects you have to see in person to appreciate the scale.

Safe travels, big guy! Georgia, there’s a Blood Moon headed your way! 🌕🚚💨

Did You Know Thursday 💡

Your trailer ramp door doesn’t have to be just on the back? 👀

A ramp door can be added to the side or even the V-nose of a trailer, giving you another option for loading and unloading carts. Smart access. Easier load-in. Easier load-out. That’s the kind of detail that can make a long competition day just a little bit easier.

Don’t be jelly when this brand-new trailer pulls in next to you at the next competition. 😎 So excited about the big reveal on this one.

Today, we’re throwing it out to you.

**What questions do you have for us?**

Props, carts, field setup, power, audio, storage, transportation, materials, fabrication, boosters—or maybe something you’ve been trying to figure out for your next marching production.

We have over 30 years of pro touring logistics and audio experience, plus several years as band-parent roadies… so we might have seen a few things. 😂 If something we’ve learned along the way can save you a few hours and give you a little more family time, ask away!

**TIP TUESDAY 🎺 | Map it before you move it!**

Before the rolling onto the field, have a plan for where everything is going.

A simple field layout can help you map out:
📍 Prop & equipment placement
🔊 Speakers and audio locations
🔌 Power locations & cable runs
🥁 Front ensemble setup
🚶 Traffic paths on and off the field

Taking a little time to lay it all out ahead of time can make rehearsal setup faster, help your crew stay on the same page, and catch potential problems before you're standing on the sideline trying to solve them.

🔧 Shop Talk Monday: Powder Coating

You know black is pretty much the standard around here. But every once in a while, something a little more colorful rolls through the shop. 💛

This is Jackson, working his magic in our powder coat area.

We had the opportunity to build a hot air balloon prop for a school, and that meant trading our usual black powder coat for a rainbow of colors. Projects like this are always fun because they give our crew a chance to do something a little different—and as you can probably tell from these pictures, some days you wear a little bit of the job home with you. 😂

Powder coating is about a lot more than picking a color. Proper prep, good coverage, attention to detail, and the right cure all have to come together to get the finish we’re looking for.

And judging by the smile, we think Jackson enjoyed getting a little color in the booth for a change. 😎✌️

We are getting alot of orders for casters.........Before the season gets rolling… make sure your equipment is, too.
👀 Give those casters a quick preseason check. Tighten loose hardware, look for worn or damaged wheels, and make sure everything swivels and rolls freely.
A few minutes now can save you a much bigger headache in the parking lot later.

🔧 Shop Talk Monday: Meet Hayden

A good weld isn’t just about making two pieces of metal stick together. And for us, the people behind those welds matter just as much as the work itself.

Hayden was a band student who was also part of his school’s welding program. He spent his summers and time after school working with us, learning the trade, putting in the hours, and getting better with every project.

Now that he’s graduated, it’s been pretty special to watch him hone his craft and take real pride in the work he puts out. You may have even met him with us at TMEA or TBA.

Fit-up matters. Heat matters. Technique matters. And when you’re building equipment that will be loaded and unloaded, rolled across parking lots, pushed onto football fields, and used season after season—strength matters.

Hayden and the rest of our shop crew understand that. From the first tack to the final bead, there’s pride behind every weld and a purpose behind every piece.
Because when you build for marching band, you’re not just building something that looks good in the shop.

You’re building it to be ready for the field. 🔥

We know Sunday evenings are prime **“get ready for the week”** time for band directors—and they’re also one of our busiest times for quote requests! ❤️

And yes… **we try to answer those quote requests even on Sundays!** 🙌

So if you send us a request and don’t see a response, our reply may have taken a wrong turn and ended up in the junk-mail dumpster. 🗑️📬😂

So keep ’em coming—we’re here, we’re answering, and we’re probably working right alongside you on Sunday night! 🎶❤️

Sometimes the best part of what we do isn't the trailer...

It's the friendships we build along the way.

Receiving a box of Tiff's Treats and a handwritten "Thank You" from the College Park Band was a reminder of why we love serving the marching arts community.

We're grateful for the opportunity to work alongside incredible directors, boosters and parents who trust us to be a small part of their journey.

Thank you, College Park Band, for the sweet surprise—and for allowing Stadium Creations to be part of your story.
