Celebrating 25 years of building better broadband.

PLP was honored to help celebrate the Fiber Broadband Association’s 25th anniversary during this year’s Fiber Connect, recognizing an organization that has helped bring together the people and partnerships continuing to drive the broadband industry forward.

We were also excited to support the OpticPath Rodeo, where competitors put their fiber skills to the test through a series of real-world challenges, including assembling a PLP COYOTE® DTC.

From meaningful conversations to hands-on competition, it was an incredible week centered around the people, collaboration, and innovation continuing to expand connectivity everywhere.

Different markets. Different perspectives. One global engineering team.

This week, PLP’s Global Engineering Managers Meeting brought together technical leaders from around the world at our global headquarters to share ideas, strengthen global alignment, and explore the next generation of critical infrastructure and connectivity solutions together.

And because engineers are gonna engineer, we kicked off the week with a bridge building challenge using playing cards. Turns out our teams can overengineer just about anything... we ran out of test weights before the winning bridge even had a chance to fail 😉

Lesson learned... apparently this team understands structural loads a lot better than they do “friendly competition.”
