Apprenticeship opening:

9-5 Monday-Friday
Have own transportation to and from jobsite
No drug use allowed
No to***co use allowed while working.
Must own appropriate clothing for all four seasons.
Must be:
- Available and able to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, ~9am-5pm on time.
- Willing and able to work at heights up to 40’ with proper safety equipment
- Able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, climb, lift and carry up to 100lbs without assistance
- Basic hand tools needed can be found on our required tools list
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required. Willingness to learn to drive with trailers a bonus.
- Desire to learn, work as a team and advance your skills:
-Willing to listen, ask questions, and follow directions in order to provide best possible product/service to clients
You will be trained: to perform the following duties. They include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and preparing the job site:
Initial and Daily job site setup, setup ladders/scaffolding as needed, setup cut station(s), nail guns, air hose(s);
- Demolition, daily/weekly cleanup, etc
- Loading and unloading materials and tools:
Ladders, scaffolding, metal break/bender, trash cans, trailers, lumber, siding, trim, Tyvek, trim coil, etc
- Assist Carpenters in their daily tasks:
Measure, mark, and cut materials; install materials, demo existing siding/materials, caulk and/or paint, pick up tools/materials from suppliers and/or other job sites/storage, etc
- Demonstrate safe work habits and knowledge of safety rules and instructions
Skills/ Traits include, but are not limited to:
- How to use common hand and power tools:
Tape measure, speed square, hammer, Tin snips, compass/protractor, levels, Circular saw, reciprocating saw, Miter saw, table saw, nail guns, impact driver, drill, grinder, sanders, etc
- Familiarity with Materials and their “best practices” installation.
- Familiarity with basic building codes and standards used commonly on the jobsite.
- Basic math skills:
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide common whole numbers and fractions; measure accurately to 1/16th inch, accurately measure in common construction increments (roof pitch, inside/outside angles, miter and/or bevel cuts, etc)
