The exact reason why I sell certain tools. It’s based off personal experiences with using them. Anyone who works on GM knows the y-pipe nuts are prone to rounding out… Hell you could just look at the nut and it rounds itself off! Mayhew stud extractors and some heat always do the trick for this application. They offer multiple sizes for every broken or frozen bolt/stud.
