Mark Eckert, PE is now licensed in Rhode Island. Paperwork to expand the business into the state has begun. We will be looking to continue to help the solar industry as we grow and branch out.

On Friday October 1, 2021, the Center for Rural Pennsylvania held a public hearing at Shippensburg University and online, to discuss solar development in the Commonwealth. Many people in the agricultural and renewable energy industries spoke during the hearing about problems and solutions that the solar industry can bring to the commonwealth.

All around it was accepted that solar in Pennsylvania can be a great industry with the right teamwork and cooperation. It can bring about great financial and environmental savings to the region and steady income to the landowners. Simple residential systems can be a benefit as well, especially as equipment prices continue to decline.

Sunstone Engineering Group is assisting solar developers, landowners, and homeowners with projects, questions, and concerns with solar projects. Feel free to reach out for an extra pair of eyes and some help.

Mark Eckert, PE is now licensed in Massachusetts. We are starting to grow and we will be looking to support the solar industry in time. The paperwork to start engineering in Massachusetts has been initiated.

People are scared that renewables and climate change will detract from the economy. Yes there will be changes and yes it will take time, but there are benefits. Let us train people in the old industries for the new industries.

Renewable Energy is one of the main industries that this firm is based in, so maybe the new jobs are coming already.
