Georgia Concrete & Precast (GCP) is located in Greenville, GA and was established as a precast plant to manufacturer MSE walls for GDOT, ALDOT, TDOT and SCDOT in 2020. In March of 2022, an existing 144” corrugated metal culvert (circa 1996) had rusted out and washed away in heavy rains. The failure of the culvert caused a significant disruption to the traveling public and local officials scrambled to find a solution with existing producers being 6 months away from being able to produce a replacement system. GCP accepted the challenge to step up and produce their first ever precast box culvert. Their first try… a massive 200’ triple barrel precast box culvert, a single run of 8’x10’ and a double run of 8’x8’, produced in just 5 weeks casting 3 pieces per day. Our team stepped up to help the community and it launched GCP into new ventures in the underground drainage business. Nearly three years later, we now offer a full line of storm and sewer manholes, barriers, retaining walls, electrical vaults, reinforced concrete pipe, headwalls and yes, precast box culverts. GCP continues to expand our capacity as we grow in the precast arena with a team committed to making quality products and providing superior customer service.
