APX continues to grow at our Mitchell Machine Shop location.

We recently added a new welding cell within our machining operations, giving us the ability to support smaller weld projects that also require machined components, all in one place.

The added capacity helps support repeat production runs while improving coordination between welding and machining operations.

Rows of enclosure systems moving through production at APX.

From standard cabinet configurations to more customized builds, our enclosure solutions are designed around the equipment, environment, and application requirements they need to support. Fabrication, finishing, assembly, and electrical integration all come together under one company to help simplify ex*****on and maintain consistency throughout production.

These larger production runs also highlight something important about enclosure manufacturing at scale: consistency matters. When multiple units are moving through production at the same time, every detail, fitment, and integration point has to stay aligned from one enclosure to the next.

Last month, APX had the opportunity to attend the York County School of Technology Co-Op Banquet celebrating students gaining real-world experience through hands-on career programs.

This year, we were proud to support two co-op students through the program, including Jordan from York Tech’s Welding & Fabrication program, pictured here with members of our York leadership team.

Jordan has spent the past year building experience alongside the APX team and will be joining us full time after graduation.

Programs like York Tech’s Co-Op initiative play an important role in strengthening the future of manufacturing by helping students transition from the classroom into skilled careers.

Celebrating a career that helped build APX.

Debbie Christman is part of the foundation here—with decades of dedication that helped shape what APX is today.

She showed up every day as a voice for the customer—holding the line on quality, accuracy, and doing things the right way. But just as important, she showed up for the people around her. Steady. Reliable. Always there when it mattered.

That kind of presence doesn’t get replaced. It gets remembered.

Debbie’s last day with APX was May 1, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s given over the years.

Wishing her nothing but the best in this next chapter!
