On May 3rd 2015, OES and LibertyPak provided the uninterrupted mobile power behind the Start and Finish lines at the Verdugos 10K! This was our 3rd year in a row supplying portable power to the awesome people in charge of this event. We hope to continue to do so for many more years to come! Next year's race is already scheduled for May 1st so start your training now.

“LibertyPak/OES products provide the perfect solution for our power needs at the Verdugo Mountains 10K (Southern California’s biggest trail race). Our start and finish line areas are in remote locations with no power source. In our early years, we used gas powered generators, which made it sound like someone was mowing the lawn.

This year, we used a Big Genny to power our PA system at the starting line area.
Since the crowd at the start stretches out for over 600 feet, we also used a Little Genny to power two additional speakers towards the back. Both units performed flawlessly. What’s even more amazing is that even though our sound tech saw both units for the first time that very morning, he figured out how to use them immediately, and was able to give us accurate information as to how much power we had left.

After the start we had 75% power left in the Big Genny, so we used it to power the finish line PA, with the Little Genny as backup. By the end of the event, we had been playing music and making announcements on our remote PA’s for over 4 hours. We never even thought about using a generator.

LibertyPak is definitely the way to go if you want clean, quiet power in a remote location!”

Happy Tuesday! Here's a question for you...if there was a bulletproof, weight-bearing solar table charging station available, what would you use it for?
We would be using it to charge up our LibertyPak Portable Products, cellphones and laptops while barbecuing in the hot summer sun!

The Verdugo Mountains 10K was a great success yesterday! Such a well organized event. Charlie Marko, the Co-Director of the race had this to say about the Big and Little Gennys:
"Thanks for the use of the equipment for our race. It worked perfectly! In fact, we never used a generator or AC power source for any of our PA equipment ... even at the post race awards ceremony. We used the large unit at the start, smaller unit at the finish, and then, since it still had plenty of power left, we used the big unit at the awards (even though we had an AC power source right behind the stage.) Next year's Verdugo Mountains 10k will be held on May 4, 2014, and I hope LibertyPak can be part of it once again, your product is perfect for our event!"

OES and LibertyPak just had some shirts made up - some to give away at the raffle this weekend for the Verdugo Mountains 10k! The others will be sported by our wonderful employees and maybe even thrown into some lucky customer's shipping boxes!
