Seeking a team player to provide support to the Shipping, Service and Customer Service Departments.
Areas of responsibility include administration, shipping, receiving, scheduling deliveries and service calls, taking and fielding incoming calls and email inquiries.
Key duties/responsibilities:
Coordinates schedule with in-house production, customers, vendors, outside service companies and freight brokers
Ensures all transactions and daily reports are recorded timely and accurately to upper management
Communicates with outside brokers to ensure timely and cost effective shipments to customers
Engages in the typical responsibilities of shipping department such as planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegating
Contains and/or reduces cost and drives productivity within the department. Cooperates in a cross-functional manner with all departments
Candidates should have: Customer service experience, general administrative skills. Knowledge of Quick books, Microsoft Outlook & Microsoft Office required. Must have a professional demeanor and the ability to handle high call volume at times.
Experience scheduling and routing Company vehicles and freight shipping a plus. Contact us with resume and salary request.
