Wheels are often times, the first thing to get dirty and lose their lustre in the days and weeks following a detail. Restoring them to a brilliant shine yourself in between details is easily achieved with a few common tools and some know how. I like to start with a pre,pretty, just to prep the surfaces and dislodge brake dust. Followed by a generous spraying of APC or wheel/tire cleaner. Agitate the entire wheel, tire and lugnuts with a medium size detail brush and while still wet, spray down for a clean rinse. Use compressed air or even a leaf blower to spray away excess water to minimize water spots. Follow up with wax of your choice for painted wheels or polish for chrome. Apply dressing to the tires outer walls and wipe away excess. Voila! A professional looking clean that will last until your next full detail.
