We couldn’t have said it any better ourselves!
“Please be careful if you must be out and about. We don’t want to spend our Christmas pulling your car, or your body, out of the ditch. It kind of puts a damper on the overall holiday spirit.”
We could only add that we do have families of our own we’d like to see for Christmas! So be safe & be smart! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🏼
Well folks, we cannot stress enough about this winter weather we are about to receive. Beginning late this evening temperatures will begin to drop into the teens, and possibly even single digits. But it’s the wind chill factor that is the most surprising. By Friday our area could see a wind chill in the sub-zero range. We just want to provide some quick tips to consider:
- Please tend to your pets. Bring them in if you are able. Any large enough not to bring in, consider heat lamps or other means of warmth. We do not encourage bringing cattle inside as they are known to be terrible house guests.
- Thursday night and into Friday may create some dangerous roadway conditions, especially on bridges. Everyone knows that bridges are the first to ice over. So please be careful if you must be out and about. We don’t want to spend our Christmas pulling your car, or your body, out of the ditch. It kind of puts a damper on the overall holiday spirit.
- If you are running space heaters in your home remember that they are the leading cause for home fires this time of year. Space heaters need space, from anything that can catch fire. They should also never be plugged into power strips or extension cords. Also, we think it goes without saying, but don’t bring propane or other bottles/tanks inside your home. Leave the house explosions to the m**h labs, ok?
Be safe. Stay informed. Merry Christmas.
