Did you know that 94% of the electricity used by Trelleborg in 2025 was renewable or fossil-free?

The energy transition across more than 100 production facilities does not happen through one measure. It involves changing how electricity is sourced, improving energy efficiency, replacing fossil fuels where possible and investing in renewable electricity production.

In 2025, renewable and fossil-free electricity increased to 94 percent of Trelleborg’s total electricity consumption, compared with 89 percent in 2024.

These efforts are an important part of our work toward reducing Scope 1 and 2 CO₂ emissions by 75 percent by 2030 (compared with 2021).

The work continues, with further efforts to increase renewable electricity and improve energy efficiency across our operations.
