Frankfort Freedom Riders Snowmobile Club Members volunteer their time to groom 37.47 miles of funded trails.

We are snowmobile enthusiasts that volunteers our time to groom and maintain the wonderful trails of western marathon county. Members volunteer their time to groom 40.21 miles of funded trails along with 3 miles of unfunded trails.Our trails stretch from Colby (the home of the Colby cheese) in our western boundry as far east to the festive Fenwood area. We go as far north to the cozy town of Milan to the southern area around the Country Aire establishment.

BIG NEWS for our upcoming Chili Feed on February 21st!

We will be featuring delicious homemade chili this year along with a selection of desserts.

A huge shoutout to S&R Truck for their donation of this awesome Stainless Fire Ring šŸ”„ This heavy built ring has your favorite Wisonsin teams displayed on the sides. We will be selling raffle tickets for this prize for $20 and will be giving it away to a lucky winner at the chili feed.

Stratford Snow Runners trails will open tomorrow, January 30th at 8:00 AM.

All Marathon County zones will be open at that time.

Please ride with caution, as recent warmer temperatures have caused some corners to be extremely icy. Trail conditions range from early-season to excellent.

Zone Openings:

Zone 1: Open effective Sunday, January 18 at 6:00 AM

Zone 2: Open effective Sunday, January 18 at 6:00 AM

Zone 3: Open effective Friday, January 23 at 8:00 AM

Zone 4: Open effective Friday, January 23 at 8:00 AM

Zone 5: Open effective Monday, January 19 at 8:00 AM

Zone 6: Open effective Friday, January 30 at 8:00 AM

It's 8am... Zone 6 (that's us) is now open in marathon county. Please know where to ride since not all of marathon county is open today. It's early season so trails may be rough. Ride safely and responsibly.
