After making the Wakizashi, it makes me want to do an actual Katana or something even longer.

Since I keep picking up working kilns for $100. Making a stacked version using separate controls for the sections is very doable.

I’ve made blades out of 1 and 3, so being how #5 is actually decent it gives me the itch make a blade out of it!

Rough fit up on the fun and challenging Wakazashi!

Try to improve everytime and attempted a more transitional Japanese fit up was great experience. Some details deviated, but overall not bad for a hobby guy and some hand filing!

With known chemistry this cake and possibly the previous have great potential to become Wootz.

To understand more on actual Wootz. Search Peter Burt Knifes, the legend has a lot of detailed content available along with several other wootzsmiths!
