Mat 28:6
"He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. KJV"
The two women came to finish the preparation of the body of Jesus, but did not find what they expected. Later Peter would run and enter the tomb. Peter was very compulsive and very close to Jesus. The other came with a little caution, after all an Earthquake marked His death and a earthquake happened again as the Angel rolled away the stone. "He is not here" Jesus plainly told them he must die and rise on the third day. This was the third day. God loves you so much He was willing to come down from heaven to our level, to our experiences, to suffer, walk that extra mile, see as we see, and feel our emotions, and even die for us!

There was 400 years of prophetic silence from heaven, then out of the wilderness cam a man called John, proclaiming "repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" This was more than two thousand years ago and repentance is still required to see the kingdom of God.

"For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: John5:22 KJV" A personal friend asked me about this verse today and was wanting to know the meaning. God the Father God the Son and the Holy Spirit are all equally God in all ways. They are three distinct persons and yet one God. In John Jesus plainly said "I and my Father are one" Reading a little farther in John chapter five we come to verse 27 that says "And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 5:27 KJV" In one sense Jesus is God and in another sense he is a man God/Man. It is possible God the Father has given all authority to judge to God the Son because he was tempted and suffered as a Man. Jesus also said "I am the way the truth and the light" Jesus is the only way to the Father and John calls Jesus the word (Logos) Jesus is the image of God the Father. Jesus told the disciplis "If you have seen me, then you have seen the Father" God the Father has no physical body and we must worship Him in spirit and in truth, Jesus is the image of the unseen God. Some day we will see God face to face in heaven if we believe in his Son.

As I witnessed to a close friend and relative, I was asked if I believed in free will or election. The Calvinist/Arminiust arguement is just that an argument. We must go directly to God's word for all answers. God's word says we are both chosen and elected to take part in God's Kingdom. I frequently think about the theif on the cross who was never baptized and probably never heard a sermon.
Yet Jesus said "for today though shalt be with me in Paradise". Of course Jesus was speaking of Abrahams Bosom (Luke 16:19-31) and that would be the place of the righteous who would then eventually go to heaven. So why would the penitent theif go to heaven? The answer to me is simple Jesus said he would! The knowledge and wisdom of God are unreachable to men, so we must look to God who has all the answers.
Free will: Our free will to believe and be saved. God's exortation to turn to Him is evidence of God giving us a free will, and a choice. (Acts 3:19)
Selected by God: God knew us before He created us, and therefore knew the choices we would make. (Ephesians 1:4)

"John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. KJV" I just came home from heart tests and the heart Doctors have what some people call the "god syndrom" and yet I studied electrical in college and scientest still do not know how electricity flows. So an electrician will give you one theory and an electronics guy will give you another. Doctors really don't know exactly why or how the brain makes the heart beat. Here in John chapter one, John tells us Jesus created all things not just the physical and spiritual but the very science that makes my heart beat. Jesus is God and the Father is God, both are one God and yet different individuals. He created everything including electricity that makes my heart beat!

“John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John uses the word logos which means the spoken word not written but spoken John says “in the beginning” Jesus was not a created being but he was indeed the Creator (John 1:3).

This afternoon I am reading in the gospel of John. John 3:3 "verily verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. I have read this many times, even taught from the gospel of John and it never gets old. John was often thought of as the theologen of the appostles. Here John writes about the visit of Nicodemus. He was a leader, a member of the Sanhedrin and a scholar of God's word. Jesus points out the importance of the Spiritual birth that takes place in all true believers. Nicodemus at first sees only in earthly terms "how can a man be born again" I don't know how much Nicodemus learned from this in counter with the Lord but if you are not a born again believer then your knowledge of Jesus is merely intellectual and not truly a conversion by faith.

"Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea." I am in Matthew 18. I encourage you to follow along. Here we see a warning This applies not only to children but to all who come to Jesus as a child. Sinning or a lifestyle of sin is bad bot leading God's children to sin is far worse. The penalty is sever.

As Christians we are not currently at enmity with God, as faith in Jesus reconciles believers, replacing former hostility with peace. God is just and all sin has a penalty. For Christians the penalty was taken to the cross by Christ Himself. The sin is taken away. Before becoming Christians we were enimies of God in our mind (Romans 8:7) After we become Christians we still battle with sin and must keep ourselves from the world and walking in the light of Christ. We will make mistakes I am not talking about missing the mark as we all do, I am talking about a life style seperated from this world (James 4:4). "Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."
Seek God now before it's to late.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. The natural state of our heart is at enmity with God but when we turn to Jesus Christ and no longer live in the flesh we will attain peace with God. The human heart must be transformed by our faith in Jesus Christ. This transformation is only possible through the Holy Spirit.
