Out last year with mostly first calved heifers that we wanted to bring forward to tighten our calving pattern, with great results. Average calving interval 341 days, 71% calved to first service, 100% calved in 9 week service period, average birth wts heifer calves 31.6 kg, bull calves 35.4 kg, 22 live calves from 21 calvings, 100% unassisted.
