I’ve been working on a simple solution for cutting grouped material in the bandsaw. If you cut repeat pieces, small stock, spacers, tabs, tubing, or round bar, this should make the setup a lot less annoying.

Follow-up to the DA sander test — this is why the setup works so well.

Instead of fighting the tube and constantly rotating it by hand, the part can roll while the sander does the work. It makes sanding and prepping round material smoother, easier, and more consistent around the whole piece.

Faster, cleaner, and much less painstaking

I made these rollers to make chamfering and flap disc cleanup less annoying, but I just tried them with a DA sander and this is my new favorite use yet.

The tube rotates smoothly, the finish comes out more even and you’re not fighting the material the whole time.

Upgrade options now available for rollers wheels and tailstock centers.

Getting this email was unexpected. Most users will likely never see this level of wear, but it gave me an opportunity to make the design even better.
