Frederiksen Artistry threads its focus on restoration of architectural and sculptured objects. Solutions are focused on accurate recreation of shape and surface solutions for architectural units and reproducing sculpted replacements for broken areas. In addition, we are a full modeling shop with the ability to provide molds and products from molds.
Services include:
• Consulting- informing and estimating scope. Recommending solutions.
Providing custom samples of restoration surfaces.
• Modeling- recreating damaged areas for direct casting (no material shrinkage),
process casting (enlargement of original to account for shrinkage), and
modeling in situ’ (modeled on location for shape, surface and durability).
• Mold-making-producing molds to cast master models from. Molds can be
produced in silicone or urethane rubber. Plaster molds can be created for
investment casting, air release plaster molds, as well as slip casting and hand
packing clay molds. Master forms are also available to cast production plaster
molds.
• Production- providing cast units in concrete, plaster, GFRC, FRP, cold cast
bronze, aluminum, copper, and metal casting.
• Logistics- production planning templates
• Repair- electric kiln, various production equipment, wheels, pug mill, hydraulic
press, and more
