The same goes for outfitters. Hunters simply use the site as a listing database and can search for private land based on price and location. How Does a Hunter Make a Reservation? Once a hunter finds land they want to hunt, they contact the land owner through the site's messaging portal. At that point, the land owner and hunter work out the details
and the deal is made. How Do The Financials Work? Hunters pay the land owner directly through the site which is powered by PayPal and accepts all major credit cards. How Does FreedHunts Make Money? FreedomHunts does not charge for membership - t's 100% free to search and list your land! Once a hunting contract is secured through our site, FreedomHunts takes 20% of the total value of the hunt. About The Team
FreedomHunts was founded by Chris Mitton and Mike Welch in July of 2015. The two moved to Colorado back in 2003 and met at the University of Denver where they both pursued business degrees. Since graduation, the two have taken root in the great state of Colorado. Both are avid outdoorsmen, who enjoy fishing, hiking, camping and anything that involves being in nature. Chris has spent his career as a Financial Planner, while Mike has spent his time as a Marketing Manager and business owner. Shortly after launch, two new members Joe Welch and Sean Clark joined the team. Both are DU alumni, with backgrounds in Sales and Marketing.
