♥️ The older I get, the > I realize that chasing success is a game that you’ll never win if it’s founded in anything other than your heart space.

🤍An evolved mindset reset and letting go of the self criticism in order to bathe in the arms of accomplishment feels amazing.

♥️The process of controlling our mind when challenging times hit is not EASY yet it IS POSSIBLE.

It’s consistency & self discipline that creates the shift in mindset.

🤍We can have control over our thoughts. Would you agree that We’re typically able to decide what we consume? We decide what kinds if quality conversations w friends we have.

🔶We can choose positive fun-loving, or deep online activities, our personal food choices, our bed times, and the ‘get yo ass out of the house’ times, and consistent workouts…
🔶ALL interactions matter as they greatly impact your vibration.

♥️Years ago I began asking myself, ‘where can I make better choices and set myself up for more success’?

🔇’How do we let the negativity go?’
Recognizing it is the 1st step. Acknowledge, feel it, let the inevitable anxious thoughts roll THRU and they will be released. Over time you can let them go.♥️

🔸🟠🔸This dedicated daily practice of gratitude (a combo of journaling, meditation, dance, qigong & yoga works well for deep healing).
I now more readily feel and ID the stressful layers and am able to release them.

🟠I feel lighter physically, spiritually + emotionally as I let go of society’s expectations and brainwashing. I let go of where I thought I SHOULD be right now.

🔸It can be a process to fully accept every aspect of you & your life.🔸

🤍I’m excited as I feel myself gaining momentum. All this discipline and consistency… it’s freaking working!

I believe we can all feel the mindset shift! I also feel it’s our human experience to suffer and feel joy.
🔸It’s up to us if we learn from it all, and decidedly become stronger bc of it. 🔸

Positive Psychology presented an interesting read for me. They asked, ‘Can you guess how many emotions a human can experience?’

It’s around 34,000.

With so many emotions, how can one navigate the turbulent waters of feelings, without getting lost?

The answer: with an emotion wheel. See 3rd picture🌅

Through years of studying emotions, American psychologist Dr. Robert Plutchik proposed that there are eight primary emotions that serve as the foundation for all others: joy, sadness, acceptance, disgust, fear, anger, surprise, and anticipation. (Pollack, 2016)

So while it’s hard to understand all 34,000 distinct emotions, we can learn how to identify the primary emotions and act accordingly.

It’s especially useful for moments of intense feeling and when the mind cannot remain objective as it operates from an impulsive “fight or flight” response. (Watkins, 2014)
