Tricky one here. This cutter bar on this hay mower had gotten a gash from a bent blade. I thought originally it was cast steel. No problem I stick welded the gash shut. Boom huge crack developed. Turns out it’s actually cast iron. Had to go back in and tig weld the crack up with special rod. Got it patched up and crack free! Saved a ton of labor and money by fixing this part instead of changing it! (Forgot to take a picture when done whoops!)

Worked over this chute on this feed in. Fixed the door slider that had rusted out and reattached the chute to the frame....

Got this John Deere 630 moco back in shape with a whole fresh set of wear plates on the bottom. Everything was worn out and some even missing. Done just in time to make a final cutting or hay!

What a good feeling. Completing the first complete line boring job. Took this hitachi stick and bucket that was egged out and got it welded up and bored back to spec. You can see how bad it actually is in the first picture with a new bushing to show the wear! Pressed new bushings in the stick end. This machine is ready to make some money again!

Also took on changing these crimper rollers and all the bearings in a new holland discbine. It was quite the job lots of work and creative rigging to get the rollers in and where they should be.
