As a CAD designer, you’ll work closely with our in-house engineers designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various types of multi-family/high rise jobs at our office location in Dallas, TX. Additionally, this position is a great opportunity to gain experience working in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
Applicant Requirements:
✓Interest in a career in CAD design
✓Interest in computers, including, but not limited to, virtual reality; computer graphics and sandbox-based computer games; and 3D modeling, drawing, and/or designing in computers
✓Strong skills in computers and technology
✓Critical thinker with a conceptual mind
✓Quick learner, especially when working with new graphics programs in 2D and 3D
The ideal candidate is a high school graduate or current college student who has an interest in engineering. This is an entry-level position; prior experience nor a college/university degree is expected nor required. You will receive comprehensive training on our systems and tools and will have the option to be enrolled in our health insurance plan after successfully completing a 180-day interim period of employment. Pay is $18/hour.
