We installed this fan and two others under our client's house at the request of a mold specialist. It was very important that the fans not increase magnetic fields or electric fields within the living environment. The house already meets Building Biology "No Concern" levels for magnetic and electric fields. The dirty electricity is very low as well. Radio frequency sits at the lower side of "slight concern" after extensive shielding, a better than 97% reduction from outside to inside. Now the client will hopefully start having many more good days and fewer days where something just feels off in their quiet home.

Greater Empathy!

I am an EMF mitigating electrician and travel a lot. During my latest trip my vehicle failed and I had to rent a vehicle as I was still some 700 miles from home. I still had appointments on the road so I could not just push through and get home to calm beauty and my amazing wife.

The first vehicle I got was satisfactory although a little to small but I could turn off internal RF (Bluetooth and WiFi) and double checked with my meters, all good. The vehicle was overall to uncomfortable so I traded it in on a van.

This as is where things got interesting. I could not turn off all the RF, my face started to burn, head pressure, my eyes felt like the may end up outside my head, and muscle spasms. I found that if I listened to loud music I didn't notice the symptoms as much. I reached out to the rental company to get another vehicle. They held one for me that sounded perfect so I drove 120 miles each way to get it. When I opened the door I was hit with the stench of cleaning products. I sat in it with the engine running for a bit while trying to turn off the RF stuff and like the van I had the same symptoms so I drove it 200' and went back inside. The employees let me go car to car to start with a sniff test and try turning off the RF sources. The car I ended up with is again to small but odor and RF free!

I'm sharing this as it is so easy to listen, so easy to offer suggestions, yet so painful and frightening when it hits home hard!

When mitigating electric fields, radio frequency, and dirty electricity, our goal is always to minimize the power density of the fields. We all see and feel things differently and there are numerous pros and cons with everything. Research and choose services wisely based on YOUR NEEDS, not someone else's fears and anxieties. The better you can articulate the discomforts and concerns affecting you, the better the chances of a successful mitigation. Determining whether the source of the imbalance is part of the house (and not utilities) is the first step in troubleshooting and fixing magnetic field sources. To start, check the cable ground and the water main.
