American Legion Post 46 Junior Shooting Club American Legion shooting team, shooting 3 Position Air Rile, Sporter and Precision. We shoot on Saturday Mornings 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All are invited.

Another Successful Match in the Books.
We had 30 Shooters on 4 Relays.
This was our 4th Annual Halloween Tournament.
Montgomery Bell Academy won the Precision Team Match
Harpeth Hall won the Sporter Class Team Match.
Our Shooters.
Vincent Pestilli Won the Sporter Class
Jake Sloan Placed 3rd in the Precision Class
Vincent won 4 medals
Jake Won 3 medals
and thats out of 21 medals.
Sarah Jones also shot a very good score,
I want to thank the NRA Foundation Grant for supplying us most of our equipment.
Hope to see all next year......

Finally we can open the club again
June 6th we will have practice.
with a few rules.
1. When not actually shooting, everyone attending will wear a mask.
2. We will maintain a 6 foot rule at all times.
3. There will be no personal contact.
4. I will supply some antibacterial solutions.
5. Everyone will wash their hands when they leave.

Hopefully with these rules everyone will be safe, and we will have a successful season.

Hello All:

We will have the NRA Postal this Saturday.
Its a 30 Shot 3 Position Match.

I want to Congratulate Kenlee and Mallory.
Kenlee won the (Gold Medal) Precision Class at the JORC Match at MBA
last Saturday.and Mallory won 3rd Place (Bronze Medal) in the Sporter Class.

And that was after Kenlee became the State Champion in the American Legion National Postal Match.

I designed a promotional Booklet for our club and it is at the printer now.

Mike and Steve accompanied me to the NRA Foundation Grant Banquet last Saturday. (With Mike driving)
This year I didn’t ask for any large dollar items.
Yesterday the NRA sent me a confirming email that we will be funded.

I am building the 4th new LED lighting strip, so we will not have to use the old lamps again.

I am also purchasing the steel backstops for 4 more target holders.
and will be looking to sell the old large frames.

Also I am going to have a new Tee Shirt printed with our logo.
I am looking for sponsors to have their logo on their back.
It will be a new color.
So please start finding us some sponsors. The Sponsor fee will be $50.00.
After collecting their money, ask for a logo, or I can visit the store or whatever
and get the logo even if I have to take a picture of it.
Get their phone number, email address and contact name.
Checks made out to American Legion Post 46 Youth Club.

Yesterday I was notified that After the first round match of the American Legion National Postal Match, State Champion Round. Our Kenlee Ewton has won the Tennessee State Championship, in Precision Class.
Congratulations Kenlee...We are all very proud.

Hello All:

There will not be a practice this Saturday.
The building manager just found out the last week,
the former Manager rented the hall for Saturday, a year ago.

On a sad note, Vincent Pestilli broke his left wrist
in 2 places and will be out for a while. why don’t we
all wish him a speedy recovery.

Today finished the CMP National Postal Match.
Will score targets tomorrow.
Up next is the 2 Montgomery Bell Academy JORC tournaments.
60 shots Air 3P and ISSF 60 shots Air Standing.
After that we will shoot the NRA 30 shot 3P Postal.

I am a day early, but think everyone will want these final results.

Sarah you fired a very good score.

To make the Second Round, cutoff for Precision is 575, Sporter is 525.

View Scores and Targets now on the Orion APP.

I printed the results for the analysis sheet. I cannot give out the fired targets.

This coming Saturday will be the CMP Postal 10 x 30 Match for
