Evans Equipment

Evans Equipment Evans Equipment has been in business since 1965, dealing in late model, heavy construction equipment. Evans Equipment Inc.
(1)

was founded back in 1965 by Tom Evans, the father of current owners Bryce & Brad Evans. While he initially started out as a territory salesman for Caterpillar, he quickly noticed that there was a need in the market for quality pre-owned or used equipment. He made the crucial decision to leave Caterpillar and begin his own company with the help of a few close partners.

Specs don't tell the whole story... So let's hear what you think...

Round 1 of the Heavy Equipment Showdown is live. On paper, both of these heavy-class excavators bring serious size, power, and production capability...

But anyone who's around heavy equipment knows that the actual choice comes down to much more than a spec sheet.

Operator comfort, technology, parts availability, hydraulics, reliability, serviceability, and more...

So, if it were you, which would you run on the jobsite tomorrow?

Drop your pick in the comments: CAT 395 or Liebherr R 992, and tell us why. πŸ‘‡

🚜 After sixty years of rebuilding heavy equipment from the frame up, we have our opinions... but we want to know what YOU think about the different machinery options on the market.

We've put four heavy-class excavators in a bracket, and are handing the vote to the people who actually run them. We'll be comparing specs, specialty use-cases, and more...

Owners, operators, and mechanics: You've got opinions on these machines, and we want to hear them!

First matchup drops soon: #1 - CAT 395 vs. #4 - Liebherr R 992. You vote on who advances.

Follow us so you don't miss a round. Let us know your early pick below πŸ‘‡

If you aren't moving dirt with an Evans Equipment Rebuild, are you even moving dirt?

All that to say, if you buy a used or remanufactured wheel loader from us, we'll need to make sure you're set up with the correct haul truck for the job, too. πŸ‘

"Why do you clean the machines right before shipping? It’s just going to get dirty the second it hits the job-site."

We've seen this question across our social media...

It may seem odd to deep-clean a piece of equipment right before it heads off on a long road trip to a dusty job site, but at Evans Equipment, it’s a non-negotiable for many reasons. Here's two of them:

1️⃣ It’s hard to spot a tiny leak or something else that requires our attention when a machine is dirty. A spotless machine ensures our final inspection is 100% accurate.

2️⃣ First impressions matter. When our rebuilt or used machinery rolls off the trailer looking like new, the customer knows it’s been handled with undivided care from the inside out.

It’s a small step in our process, but many small steps create one great result.
