STORY TIME:

Yesterday while working on a local horse farm, I noticed the farmers 10 year old son watching me weld all day. I hit him with the usual “hey buddy don’t look at the bright light it will hurt your eyes”
Well this boy sat and watched all day but every time I looked over at him he had a new piece of rusty scrap metal.

This boy sat and patiently waited all day for me to finish welding all the gates for his dad. Once I was done and getting ready to pack up I hear him walk up behind me and say “Mister can I ask you something?”

To which I said “yeah buddy what’s up?”

Boy: “I found these pieces of metal I’ve been saving in my club house. If we put these pieces together like this I can make a table grill to put over the fire so me and my Dad can go camping. LOOK there’s enough room to put 2 burgers on it so I can make one for me and one my dad when we go camping. Can you please weld this so I can go camping and cook with my dad?”

Literally one of the most wholesome things I’ve ever heard. So of course I COULDNT refuse. Yes after working all day cooking in the sun on the farm I couldn’t say no to this boy. So we welded his “grill table” together for him and we both took it to his dad to show him.

Definitely one of the most wholesome experiences I’ve ever had on a job.

Believe it or not, YES, we do late night emergency repairs…for the right price of course.

After working on a local horse farm all day we got a call for a broken trailer coupler at a gas station in Falling Waters, West Virginia late at night. Had to HAUL A** to Tractor Supply to get a weld on 2 5/16 coupler 7 MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSE! Luckily we were able to secure the coupler on time and make our way to West Virginia to help the customer out.

This guy was on his way from Georgia to New York. Coupler had cracks growing up the side that led to a complete break. Within 45 MINUTES of arriving we had this guy back on the road!

THIS MAY 4th!

REYNOLDS WELD REPAIR WILL BE INOPERABLE AND CLOSED FOR THE DAY AND NIGHT!

WE ARE CLOSED THE FULL 24hrs FROM MAY 3rd to MAY 5th.

No Calls will be answered during that 24hr period and no Emergency after hour repairs can be conducted at that time.

Reynolds Weld Repair will be back up and running the very next day.

Handrail done today for a friend in Williamsport, Maryland.

They didn’t want anything fancy, just something there so they could sell the house.

If you have some hand rails that need to be replaced I would absolutely love to get creative with some hand rails.

Capping upright posts for an automatic gate the other day. Customer was worried about the tubes filling up with water having the tops open and exposed.
A quick call and a drive by had me in and out of there in no time.
Posts were 5”x5”x1/4” so we plated them with 1/4” steel plate.
Whenever you do this you want to trim the plates just under the measurement so you’re left with an outside corner joint the whole way around.

Taking old bent ramps and rebuilding them new.
These original Bri Mar ramps had tubes that were only 1/8” thick…yeah…NO WONDER THEY BENT!
We completely cut the tubes out and replaced them with 1/4” thick tubes, WHILE REPURPOSING ALL OTHER COMPONENTS! Out here like a steel surgeon helping people save money on extra material that can be reused!
Repurposed all angle, gussets, and plates from the original ramps.
Almost can’t even tell other than the fresh paint!
