Opel Manta rally car rust repairs coming on nicely!
So far it’s had new chassis legs, new battery tray, bulkhead repairs, repairs to front and rear inner arches, and A-pillar repair!

Two more Austin Healeys finished this week!

The 3000 came in with seized brakes and a faulty heater. All sorted for the weekend!

The ‘Frogeye’ Sprite has been a recommission project after being garaged for years.
New brakes, master cylinders, front suspension bushes, wheel bearings, carburettor rebuild, ignition system rebuild, unleaded conversion, duplex timing chain conversion, etc!!

An Austin Healey BN2 came in with oil pouring from the sump… it turns out 70 years of the dipstick rubbing and rattling around had eroded a hole in the sump!

All repaired and on its way for a weekend drive!

A few more British classics in today!

Vauxhall Nova shell was in a bit of a sorry state after being rallied, crashed and bodged.

- Straightened and fabricated new rear floor section and fit new back panel.
- Fabricated new tunnel ensuring seat rails sit correctly.
- Fabricated bulkhead to allow for heater as original chopped out.
- Cut roof in half, reshaped and pulled together since steel was badly stretched and warped from being rolled.
- All rust chopped out and properly welded up.
- Doors, wings and quarters fettled to ensure correct panel gaps.
- Filler, prep and paint.

Now to be built…

Austin Healey 100/4 in to diagnose and fix a fault with the overdrive ready for the weekend!

1967 Ford Mustang came in over the winter for a number of jobs, including an ATB differential installation/rebuild , distributor recondition and advance curve tuning, carburettor tweaking, and more!

This Porsche 944 came in for what turned out to be almost a full recommission.

This included new clutch, engine work, brake rebuild and a seemingly endless list from a previous MOT failure.

Mercedes 300SL R107 restoration finished a few weeks ago.
This included welding to sills, floors, inner/outer wings, boot seal recess, hood closing panel, spare wheel well… and so on.
Then after painting building up having repaired countless exterior trim pieces, new wood trim, refurbished wheels, recovered seats and everything else cleaned/polished as new!
