A few months ago we officially launched our sister company, Atlantic Compressor Services and from time to time we will be sharing tips and information on industrial air compressors.

As ironic as it may sound, one of the best “bad” situations that a maturing business can face is declining productivity caused by too much growth.

We’re proud to support a project that turned a forklift donation into something much bigger.

Earlier this month, we donated a forklift to help support a large-scale meal packing event. By providing the equipment needed to keep things moving, we helped reduce event costs so more of the donations raised could go directly toward providing meals for people in need.

And the results were pretty incredible.

Over two days, approximately 750 volunteers worked across four shifts to pack 200,000 meals, reaching both the event’s meal-packing and fundraising goals.

Through Servants With a Heart, a North Carolina-based ministry, those meals will now make their way to communities in Cuba where resources are limited.

Sometimes a forklift does a lot more than move pallets.

We are grateful that we could play a small part in helping this organization make a very big impact.
