A few months ago we officially launched our sister company, Atlantic Compressor Services and from time to time we will be sharing tips and information on industrial air compressors.

'Turn-key installation' gets used a lot in this industry. Here's what it actually means when we do it.

When we handle a turn-key compressed air installation, we're responsible for the entire system from start to finish. That includes equipment selection, system design, mechanical installation, piping, and commissioning.

When we hand the keys over, the system works. You don't need to coordinate multiple contractors or chase down a subcontractor who never showed up.

That matters because every hand-off between contractors is a place where something gets missed. A pipe run that doesn't match the design. A dryer that was installed but never commissioned. A pressure setting that was never adjusted for the actual application.

We see the results of poorly coordinated installs regularly. They're expensive to fix after the fact.
