Picked up the new TEKTON aluminum handle magnetic bit driver to go along with the other two 1/4” socket drivers. The quality and the detail is on point! Nice heavy feel with excellent knurling. Tri-lobe design to prevent rolling away. All of them have a 1/4” drive on the end of the handle. The new bit drive is non-locking, but has a pretty decent magnet. It also compliments their whole new line of bits and bit accessories. They now have stubby bits (0.75”length) and their regular bits are slightly longer (1.18”length) for a unique reach to stand out from other brands. Tons of New bit sets as well!

The Boltster Inc. Multi-hex bolt organizer mat is their newest mat. They’ve come a long way from their original design. The Multi-hex provides for holding different size bolts/screws plus it has 6 magnets embedded to hold what you need in the side trays and to store it away. Awesome mat!

Tool News! GEARWRENCH released lineman focused tools and these two caught my eye!

The Lineman Folding Hawkbill Knife with Multi-Tool GWKHBFDSMT gets into the game with the fold out driver. Other brands are already into their second generation of their version, but it’s cool to see Gearwrench paying attention.

The Lineman Fixed Blade Hawkbill Knife with Blunt Tip GWKHBFXB adds a touch with a large loop on the back. I’ve never seen a knife like that, but I do see it useful for a lineman.

I don’t know the quality of each, but I will link it in my Amazon storefront if you would like to check them out. Link in bio. They run between the $30 - $40 range.
