Something a little different that came through the shop recently. We do more than just motor work here at Pyper’s Diesel Performance, we can make a truck look good to. Brennan Hoag came in wanting some color under his 2020 Ram. Striped it down, sent out parts for powder, and meticulously reassembled and added frame overlays. Simple but hard to miss!

Every engine has imperfections, for the L5P Duramax’s it’s the oil pan. The OEM oil pan traps just less than a quart of oil in the pan after fully draining the system. This can cause any contaminants that may be in the oil to never escape. With the Banks CoolRunner oil pan it allows the oil to fully drain, adds 2 quarts of oil capacity, will lower oil temps, cooler oil retains the proper viscosity which will keep everything lubricated properly, along with many other benefits!

Big things happening lately! We are moved into a much bigger shop. There is still a lot to do to get this location dialed in but we are set up enough to start working out of it the first week of September. This week marks 2 years since I took a huge leap of faith and decided to take Pyper’s Diesel Performance to the next level and do this full time right out of high school. It’s truly been a blessing to be able to come so far in only 2 years. There have been a lot of ups and downs, a lot of lessons learned, mistakes made and days/weeks with no work but I couldn’t be happier with where the business is now with currently 20 jobs lined up and plans to get into a bigger shop soon. None of this would be possible without the help of our amazing customers. Thank you all for trusting us with your repairs, custom builds and fleets repairs. Here’s to more growth in the coming years!
