North Coast Associate Spotlight!
Nguyet Morrison joined the North Coast Gresham team in September 2019. Morrison started in the CDC's small pick zone, and it did not take her long before she started out packing other packers and out-picking pickers. Within weeks, Morrison became one of the top pickers in the warehouse, exceeding expectations and the LPH metric.
In May 2024, the Gresham location moved to a brand-new Regional Distribution Center, and in July of that year, the Locus robots were introduced. It was recommended that we have three or four associates picking in Locus to reach the 100 lines per hour metric Sonepar was looking for. After training, Morrison used her prior knowledge of picking small parts to match over 100 picks per hour on her own, averaging 700 to 1,200 lines a day without any assistance.
Every day, she comes in with a smile and is always willing to go the extra mile to help. Morrison keeps the morale high in Portland as she is always in a high-vibration mood. During Morrison's free time, she likes to go to church, spend time with her friends and family, Clean around the house, cook, and sing karaoke. Morrison is a great person to work with, and we're proud to have her on the North Coast team.
