We’re working on this cool looking part made out of 7075 aluminum for a customer of ours. We utilized the live tool feature on our DS30Y which allows us to drill and tap the bolt holes in the face of this part without the need for another mill op!

Another cool part we’re working on here at Four Way Machine. It may not look very big but this part is 18 inches in diameter and starts out weighing 360 pounds! Luckily our Haas SL30BB has a transmission to give us all a lot of torque and is just big enough to be able to swing it.
