Maker Faire Coney Island was a lot of fun this year. I saw a lot of great projects and met fascinating people eager to engage. I think my only hope is that next year there are more visitors... looking forward to helping get more people out there next year!. A few of my favorite projects... Cyobot’s .kit modular robotics platform (I am eager to get and try out! It has a ESP32 base and lots of possibilities - including 3D printing components), Michael Suguitan has both a design and available files for 3D printing or laser cutting a robotic frame (called Blossom - check out GitHub.com/msgtn/r0b0), the Brooklyn Blacksmiths and the showed off their impressive First Robotics competition bots, presented “Positive Energy” sculpture which was an interactive power generating installation, a lovable robot from .sayaka. Looking forward to next year and being more involved! Thank you, for putting together a great Maker Faire!
