A few night shop photos from last week while the chaos continues

Stoked doesn’t even cover it seeing the back half of this truck finally going back together with all the new hardware. The old Fuel Safe cell is out, and we’re already building around the new 44-gallon setup for the rear.

The housing is on deck, just waiting for the hubs and the competition 9” third member to land so we can measure for axle shafts and keep hammering.

Every late night in the shop is one step closer to unleashing this thing down Barstow Main with , exactly where it belongs.

Happy Saturday peeps! Figured I’d drop a quick pre-race-season update here on Instagram before reassembly starts and the shop chaos really kicks off. Wanted to give you guys a walk-through of where currently sits and the changes and upgrades we’re knocking out before we send this old girl back at the green flag.

I’m putting together a longer, less cut-up version for YouTube soon, but I really wanted to get an update posted here first. Like I mentioned in the video, we’re on the home stretch now. We’re just waiting on the last few puzzle pieces for the rear housing and for the engine to be finished so we can get everything buttoned up and ready for testing next month.

I’m seriously fired up to see how this next round of testing goes with all the super rad changes we’ve made. From the new engine package to the full-floater rear setup—and my first set of Brembo race calipers—I can’t wait to feel the difference.

Anyways, hope you guys stick around for this totally not boring seven-minute update and drop a comment after you watch. One of my big goals this year is to put out more video-based vlog content so you can follow the timeline of this truck’s journey throughout the season. The editing might be a little rough at first, but we’ll get it dialed in with time. And with that say, I hope you all have a great weekend and send some sicky gnar!

Bigggggg floater guy now 😎

Quick sneak peek for the ‘gram before we yank the housing back out to finish up the trailing arm mounts, sway bar, limit strap tabs, and brakes. Feels unreal seeing that housing sitting under the old never thought I’d be building something this wild at this stage of the truck, but with the new drivetrain upgrades coming… it was only meant to be.

Huge thank you to everyone helping make this dream real. I can’t wait to feel how different (in the best way) this V2 setup is gonna be. With how good it was before, it’s only uphill from here.

Full recap post coming soon, but for now, just soak in this moment. Four years of dedication, countless late nights wondering, “Will it actually work?”—and it did. Not only did it work, it surpassed every expectation.

For reference: this truck is rolling on 35-inch tires, sports a single 3.0 14-inch stroke front coilover, a 14/16 rear setup (no c-notch because of class rules), and 13 inches of up travel—all with dialed-in suspension geometry thank you . And one badass little 3.8L Moruzzi special built by the one and only It proves that if you put in the homework, it pays off.

With Kevin’s tuning , and I were confidently ripping down Main at 68 mph, and honestly, we could have gone even faster if we hadn’t ran out of Rear gear.
