First time job… removing a patio enclosure. It was like taking apart a puzzle. The roof yesterday was a bit mine exhausting. I was overthinking it. It basically took all afternoon. This morning, the wall removal took about an hour.

This job that I was asked to do in Rockville started out needing the wooden siding removed, and the inside cleaned out down to the studs. So that it could be refurbished.THEN, I found everything up to 1’ off the ground was rotten, and the siding and some of the framing was eaten up by termites. So... bye bye shed.

I really like helping friends and former employers. Yesterday Kyle & I starter disassembling a piece machinery (filter for brewing), at The Phoenix Upper Main, the former Ellicott City Brew Pub. We finished disassembling and cutting the machine, today. We took it to recycle and had over 2500 lbs of steel, aluminum, and copper/brass. I have to say that it was fun/interesting figuring out how we were going to move some of the pieces. A couple were 400-600 lbs. I’m glad that there was a lift to bring them down from the 2nd floor.

WOW... The things people ask me to haul away. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a console TV.

Did a little demo work today with Kyle Spicer. We took down a out of ground pool, the pool deck, a privacy fence, and took out a dozen and a half railroad ties. That was a hot 6 hours. Going back in a few days to fill the hole and grade the yard.
