I am often asked how I’ve been able to investigate for so long and how I got so many locations. I have many locations that will always remain confidential.
I have never relied on Facebook or social media to establish my team’s reputation. My career began long before the advent of social media, when face-to-face interactions and direct communication with potential clients were essential.
I possessed exceptional communication skills and valued the opportunity to engage in discussions. I always prepared comprehensive packets to present to clients. I actively participated in city council and board meetings, fully prepared to answer any questions that arose.
This proactive approach resulted in the opening of doors, and in many instances, my team was the sole entity permitted to conduct investigations. I maintained strict confidentiality and refrained from publicly discussing cases, as this decision was entirely at the discretion of the client.
My unwavering dedication to building my team’s reputation has yielded remarkable results. The investigations we have undertaken and continue to undertake are truly an honor. We have extended our services through various avenues, including leading tours for different cities, delivering presentations to schools and libraries, and participating in events such as Comic Con. We have even conducted college courses.
Throughout my career, I have cultivated meaningful relationships with clients, who have become cherished friends. I am proud of the numerous accomplishments my team has achieved and the unique experiences we have had that set us apart. While I am committed to maintaining confidentiality, I am confident that my work has made a significant impact.
I am still fortunate to have received keys to historic locations, granting me access to these sites on Fridays and allowing me to stay the weekend. I was solely responsible for ensuring the return of the keys by Monday morning.
Today, I am still grateful for the hard work I have invested in my career. I am proud of my traditional approach and the skills I have honed in communication and interpersonal interactions.
While team members have come and gone, I find that I am very happy to continue to investigate amazing locations with people who truly appreciate me and I them. I have team members who have moved but still are Pulse family. I continue to meet new clients who become friends. It is a great feeling.
The biggest way to advance your team is to be prepared and hone in on your communication skills. I promise you won’t regret it.
