A strong bond starts with solid prep.

Here’s what we recommend: 👇

1. Clean it. Remove dust, grease, or contaminants with isopropyl alcohol or acetone.

2. Sand it. For most substrates (like wood, composites, or cured epoxy), sand to 80–120 grit for best mechanical adhesion.

3. Dust it. Wipe down surfaces thoroughly after sanding - clean surface = better bond.

4. Dry it. Make sure your surface is fully dry before applying epoxy.

Pro Tip: For previously cured epoxy, sanding is a must. Epoxy doesn’t bond well to a glossy surface, so a good scuff gives it the grip it needs.
