The team is comprised of players who grew up in the Town and Country Optimist Recreational League during their t-ball and coach pitch years. Upon graduating to the kid-pitch level of play, Coach Vasquez formed the RUSH team to provide players an opportunity to play baseball at a higher level in a more competitive environment. The RUSH team plays in baseball tournaments in and around the Austin & C
entral Texas region that are specifically designed for select teams. During its 10U season, the RUSH took the 1st place championship trophy in three of the tournaments they competed in. As they embark on their 11U season, the RUSH have big hopes and dreams. New uniforms and new equipment are in their sights. In addition, the team hopes to compete in the World Championship Tournament in Louisiana in the summer of 2017.
