This is a great question as the summer heat rolls in! Classico Limewash is designed to be applied between 50-88F degrees. If the surface you are painting gets direct sunlight above 88 degrees, the surface will "flash dry" and not absorb into the brick properly - which is critical for longevity.

For the hot summer months ahead, we recommend painting during the cooler hours (late at night or early in the morning) and in the shade when possible. Remember, you always want the surface to be wet when applying the limewash, and the high heat makes that difficult.
