🔥 Another heavy duty repair knocked out by GLS Fabrication LLC 🔥

Customer brought in this dump trailer with a severely worn out hinge that simply couldn’t handle the workload anymore. Instead of a quick patch job, we rebuilt it to last. 💪

✅ Removed the old worn out hinge and cleaned everything out
✅ Added 3/8” reinforcement plates in the web to stiffen and strengthen the structure
✅ Custom built a brand new hinge using 3” x 1/2” wall round tube with a 2” solid pin, machined down for an exact fit
✅ Added a grease fitting for lubrication to improve function and help prevent future wear

Everything was custom built and machined to an exact fit all the way to the mill, built to handle real work and keep this trailer going.

🔥 CUSTOM BUILD SPOTLIGHT 🔥
This one was an absolute blast to build and I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to bring it to life.

This fully custom burn pit was built from the ground up for Feathrd Taxidermy, featuring a custom CNC logo cut into the panels and designed for both performance and looks.

Build details:
🔥 Removable 3” x 3” smoke stack to improve airflow and push smoke straight up
🔥 Removable 3” elevated burn grate for cleaner, hotter burns
🔥 3” x 3” center drain & clean-out hole at the bottom
🔥 Slotted lower edge drain holes for water runoff
🔥 Slotted corners for increased airflow
🔥 Fully removable grate and stack for easy clean-out
🔥 Heavy-duty construction built to last

To top it off, the customer loved it so much they couldnt fathom covering up the craftsmanship and attention to detail. they decided to take it to the next level — it was professionally clear-coated by Atlanta Custom Coating with a high-temp clear to help protect it from rust, aging, and the elements while still showing off the raw metal finish 👌

Projects like this are exactly why I love what I do. This one was a ton of fun to build, and I’m extremely grateful to Feathrd Taxidermy for trusting GLS Fabrication with their vision.

Nothing leaves the shop without his help and approval.
