Even though we may not like it ourselves, rain brings about a unique challenge in the lawn care biz. You can’t cut nice yards when they’re wet. Period! It just is what it is.
I can’t count how many times I hear the question, “Well, it isn’t raining here right now, can you come and get me done now?”
ANSWER: Yes, I could I guess. I could make it to you or anyone else who is not directly under a rain cloud at this very moment, and begin heading that way with the intention of getting the yard cut before it rains.
Getting back on schedule, (schedule is a word used loosely in this biz), can be difficult following a rainy period. Many yards store water differently than others. Some can take days to dry out to a point whereas they can be mowed to avoid damage to underlayer.
So, to be clear, bad weather may cause delays in our ability to schedule certain days to provide service. That’s why we can’t guarantee service on a particular day in advance. We will try to target certain days, but that’s the best we can do.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding of this detail, and thank you for your business.
