Revisiting October 2026. The dock, the ramp, the crew under the canopy — a month of showing up and learning, one session at a time. Testing season is over for W-97, but October's work carries forward. 2027 schedule to be revealed soon. w97racing.com

Interesting, I am grateful that this filter held up during the season. Tonight I noticed it was wet in the back of the runabout. Found the fuel filter had become brittle and cracked off at the ni**le, cracks throughout, and the other ni**le instantly broke off as well while investigating. I assumed these would be good for methanol use since I ordered them from a place specializing in methanol gokart carbs, I ordered them along with the methanol safe fuel line. Live and learn. Trust but verify. I should have spoken with them directly. Clearly these are not alcohol compatible. Chose your lines and filters carefully. I have seen lines dry out and get brittle like this filter did, I have also seen them swell and get thin until they burst. Safest bet for methanol: PTFE. Period. Ask what it's made of. No datasheet, no deal. w97racing.com

With temperatures averaging in the 40s, and night time lows down to 32 and below. Its time to put the race trailer away for the season. The water looks great today. I could be tempted to take the open trailer testing if the weather was warmer. However testing season is over for W97. Its been a really productive past few months

Behind every run. The crew. The work. The support. I need to thank everyone who has helped this season, and all of the weekly test runs. Its hard to find people available during the week to go testing. Thank you for your support. I couldn't get off the beach myself. Thank you. W-97

So many updates this offseason. Every run is another opportunity to learn what can be improved. Knock on wood. I want to get both boats on the water one more time this season just to confirm that the changes helped ❤️ I am been so busy I haven't had a chance to share what changes we're made and why. There is a lot more to Talk about this winter. What would you like to hear me share or talk about.

She loads up, then she clears out. That's when she starts flying again.
