Now that we have dealt with the first couple of rounds of winter storms, it is a good time to check your snowblower for an often forgotten about maintenance item: skid shoes and scrapers.
On a 2 stage snowblower, skidshoes are meant to bear the weight of the snow blower and keep the scraper bar from dragging directly on the pavement. Without the skidshoes adjusted properly, the scraper will ride on the pavement and can wear to the point where the snowblower housing is damaged like in the picture below:

I am looking for some part time help with pickup and deliveries in the Anamosa or Cedar Rapids area. Schedule would be flexible and involve picking up mowers, lawn tractors, and snowblowers. Looking for someone who has their own truck and trailer. Pay would be based on a set pickup and deliver back fee of $20-50.00 per unit.
Work would be very seasonal, heaviest demand in the Spring and Late Fall. During the winter, it is dependent on how much snow we get.

Thank you Anamosa and the surrounding area for your continued business! I am looking for some part time help. Duties would include test running machines, pick up and deliveries, cleaning, and some basic equipment maintenance. I am needing someone a couple of days per week, or even 1/2 days would be fine. Must be customer service oriented , have a valid drivers licence, and some mechanical aptitude would be a plus. Let me know if you or know of someone who might be interested!

Did you know that Ryan's Repair has the equipment to mount/dismount mower and ATV tires? I can either get you the tires and install them for the quoted price or I will install tires that you have purchased for $15 for mounting/disposal. I can also install inner tubes in tires that leak but are otherwise useable.

We all have times when we need some help with our lawns and keeping up with the mowing. Ryan's Repair has the equipment to mow lawns up to an acre or even a little more depending on what you need. If you need a vacant lot maintained or going to be on vacation and want your lawn taken care so you can come home to one less thing to worry about, let me know!
