On Saturday May 25 at approximately 7:50am ADL-1-A launched on the ISU campus in Ames, IA. This flight was to test some hardware we have been developing.

The spacecraft hit about 85,000 feet, a little less than predicted. It landed just northeast of Nevada, IA in a nice open field at approximately 9:50am.

We experienced perfect launch conditions with ground winds less than 2 mph with only a little haze. We were able to track the spacecraft on the ground the entire flight. We were also able to get a visual at about 5,000 ft ASL watch it land in a nearby field.
