About the Job
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our technical services team. As a technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for various equipment, including both portable and stationary systems. Working alongside other team members, you will ensure that systems are functioning optimally. While system design is not part of your responsibility, you will be expected to identify potential design issues and recommend necessary improvements.

Job Description and Roles
•Assembling, evaluating, testing, Repairs and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and apparatus.
•Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning electrical equipment and systems.
•Fabricating electrical parts according to specifications using hand tools and machinery.
•Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
•Advising management and clients on equipment maintenance, safety concerns, and the continued use of unsuitable or outdated equipment.
•Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to improve system functionality.
•Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
•Maintaining accurate records of system repairs, replacements, and inspections.
•Ordering electrical supplies and materials as needed.
•Providing support for on-site installations and system upgrades.
Desired Candidate Profile
•A Degree/Diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
•Added advantage : Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or similar hands-on training.
•Ability to read and understand complex electrical diagrams and systems.
•Knowledge of industry safety protocols and regulations
•Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
•Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
