Recently, our CEO, Дмитро Софина, participated in a focus group where key barriers to effective collaboration between Ukrainian scientific institutions and businesses were discussed. The main takeaway: the culture of interaction between these sectors needs to be changed for the rapid transformation of scientific results into technologies.

🦾 A strong business ecosystem in Vinnytsia is built through consistent interaction — when businesses, local authorities, and partners regularly come together to discuss shared challenges and opportunities.

In this context, R&D Center Winstars.AI hosted another meeting of the Громадська організація "Вінницький Бізнес Клуб".
The meeting took place in the Technopark Crystal and brought together representatives of business, government, clusters, and partner organizations. The discussion focused on business development, technology, exports, financial instruments, and regional cooperation.

Our CEO and co-founder Дмитро Софина presented the key areas of WINSTARS.AI work and spoke about our AI solutions, international partnerships, and practical digital transformation cases for businesses.

Building a UA 🇺🇦 startup and facing challenges? Share your experience.

With support from EU4InnovationEast, the teams at Civitta and EasyBusiness are analyzing the current state of Ukraine’s startup ecosystem. We invite founders and representatives of Ukrainian startups to take part in a survey to help us capture a realistic picture of the market.

In particular, we aim to understand:
⏹︎ how comfortable it is for startups to grow in Ukraine;
⏹︎ what regulatory, legal, and other barriers startups face;
⏹︎ what is missing for sustainable growth and scaling of startups.

Your responses will have a real impact. The results of the study will form the basis for recommendations to key government institutions, including the Міністерство цифрової трансформації України (Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine) and the Ukrainian Startup Fund, as well as to European partners. In addition, the findings will help assess how closely Ukraine’s startup ecosystem aligns with the standards of the European Startup Nations Alliance .

The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 15–20 min to complete. All data will be used exclusively for research purposes.

🦾 We continue to take part in strong initiatives within the deep tech ecosystem and the IT community.

Recently, our CEO Дмитро Софина led a workshop titled “Systematic Risk Management and Problem–Solution Fit Validation” for early-stage startup teams.

During the session, teams worked with real-world cases and practical scenarios, discussing structured approaches to risk analysis, validation of key assumptions, and assessing whether a solution truly addresses a clearly defined customer problem. Particular attention was given to practical risk mitigation planning and common pitfalls that arise at the intersection of technology and product.

In today’s fast-evolving technological world, where challenges demand new approaches, acting together is crucial. This is exactly what happened at Tech Unity, where the unification of 16 regional IT clusters into a new community, Tech Synergy, was officially announced.

This significant milestone is the result of long, persistent work, bold ideas, and faith in the power of partnership. Our CEO, Дмитро Софина, one of the main visionaries behind this initiative, has been on this journey since the first concepts back in 2017 until today’s realization.

🤝 Tech Synergy is more than just a union - it’s the foundation for Ukraine’s technological and economic breakthroughs. Sixteen regions have come together to build a strong, innovative, and globally competitive ecosystem.

🦾 Innovation Day 2025 by IT-Association Vinnytsia — an event that was undoubtedly essential for the tech community, and we are proud to have been a part of it for several years now.
This year’s event brought together experts, investors, and companies shaping the future of the tech market and global partnerships.

Our Board Advisor and official representative in North America, Mariana Tataryn, spoke as a keynote speaker at the event.
In her presentation, she outlined key strategies for Ukrainian businesses entering the U.S. market and highlighted common risks companies face during the scaling process. Key points included:

• effective strategies for product adaptation and positioning,
• building partnerships and strengthening brand presence in a new market,
• mistakes that often hinder entry into the U.S. market and how to avoid them.

Mariana emphasized that the U.S. market is open to Ukrainian solutions, but it requires a deep understanding of local business processes, requirements, and expectations.

🙌🏻 For us, participation in Innovation Day 2025 is an important step in supporting Ukrainian companies striving to become global players.

🙌 A few days ago, the kick-off meeting of UNESCO’s Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) initiative took place — a key step in preparing the AI Readiness Report for Ukraine, funded by the European Union. We’re pleased to share that our CEO, Дмитро Софина took part in this event and contributed to the discussions.

The meeting brought together representatives from the public sector, business, and the expert community to identify the key needs, challenges, and opportunities for fostering ethical and responsible AI development in Ukraine.

💥 We are also proud to announce that Dmitry Sofyna has been invited to join the working group that will support the next stages of assessing the country’s readiness for AI implementation. This recognition highlights the trust placed in our expertise and commitment to advancing responsible technology.
